Why I became an SPO Missionary

I said yes to mission with SPO because of a desire to share with college students the reality of his radical love and abundant life and true freedom offered to them in Jesus. In college, there were moments where I felt isolated and alone, and it was through true Christian friendship where time and again I was brought deeper into relationship with the Lord and with the greater Catholic community. This was a transformative experience of my friends being radical witnesses in my life of what it looks like to live all in for the Lord, as His disciples. For this reason, I desire others to experience the transformative power of Jesus and community, that they too may be brought out of isolation into communion with God and one another.
