Why I became an SPO Missionary

More than anything, I desire to serve the Lord and His people. The past four years studying in Denver at Regis University, I have grown to love college students. I am struck by their eagerness to learn and their desire to live an exciting, adventurous life. I also know full well the darkness and sin that comes with this experience. The temptations are strong here because the devil sees the vibrant life and full potential for holiness and wants to intervene. I want to intervene first. I want to be with students in their struggles and in their joys. I want to live a holy life and invite others to as well. SPO is beautiful because it provides an opportunity for young people to live together and grow together, in fellowship and love of God. SPO places an emphasis on following the Holy Spirit and praising God in all things. I desire to be a Missionary on a college campus. I desire to bring the Good News; the JOY of the Lord, to all people, but especially to my own generation.
